About the Book:

Love is selfless and it is constantly pursuing ways to bridge the gap of disconnection in the world.

When we are walking in love we desire the best for people.

In this four week mini Bible Study come and explore what unconditional love looks like in your life today.

Unless one has already arrived in heaven ahead of the rest of us, they are on the journey to learn to love just like everyone else. That’s a good place to be, on the journey to love. As you get to study this four week Bible Study, you will learn and grow in your understanding of the love of God, and let go of doctrines and live to love God and all people.

The journey is not about teaching others how to love, but about allowing ourselves to be taught, not by men, but by the Spirit within us. For while we can certainly learn from one another, it is the Spirit whom we desire to ultimately hug us. – Amazon Customer

Title: Hope Reborn (Texas Romance Book 3)

Author: Caryl McAdoo

Rating: 5 stars

About the Book

New York dime novelist May Meriwether decides a heroic Texas Ranger will make a great love interest for her new heroine. Bored to tears and loving adventure, she sets out to the Lone Star State with her constant companion and confidant Chester in tow.

Dreams for a husband and children are relegated to the recesses of her heart, the self-confessed old maid deems it too late. But the near-perfect widower resurrects a smidgen of hope. Only his impenetrable, superstitious religious beliefs stand in the path to her falling head over heels, those and his love for his dead wife. Would there ever be room for her in his heart? And would he give up his fanaticism for God?

An unexpected romance surprises both. Hope is reborn in God’s unfailing love and grace. Can a life built on lies find the Way to confession, forgiveness, and true joy? In a day when the church offers the only stability on the 1850 Texas prairie, these unlikely players find one another and fall in love. But will it be enough?

I love series books and A Texas Romance series is full of mystery, suspense, twist, turns, forgiveness, redemption and love. Hope Reborn finds the patriarch, Patrick Henry Buckmeyer, raising his family after the death of his beloved wife Sue after the birth of their son. We meet Millicent May Meriwether, a novelist of fictional romance books. She has traveled from New York to Texas to interview Levi Baylor and Wallace Rusk, Texas Rangers. What a shock to meet Henry Buckmeyer, and basically it is love at first site for both of them. Henry is a man of God and strong faith, he believes in the Bible and honoring God’s word. May is agnostic, and scoffs at the fairy tales people insist upon believing about a deity in the sky that is all controlling. The story kept me captivated as Henry and May become friends and talk about the future. The dialogue is entertaining and heartwarming. I admired Henry for sticking to his principles and not becoming unequally yoked and sharing God’s love and forgiveness with May in the most loving way. The Buckmeyer children and May develop a sweet and loving relationship and she loves them as a mother. The story does have a cliffhanger at the end that leads into the next book.

About the Book

This is the first of 4 books

When four sisters show up in town to fill the position of Sheriff, Mark isn’t sure what to do. This town is no place for women, especially a green eyed beauty like Sam. When the town learns that these four woman can outshoot any man around Mark is forced to accept the girls as sheriff, but when one of them is kidnapped and being forced into marriage, will the other girls be able to save her and prove once and for all that they can do the job. Mark and Sam break down the wall of stubbornness, and realize that love has found them?

If you enjoy this read the next books in the series, Jo’s story, Dan’s Story, Rob’s story and Sheriff Bride Christmas the Inside Man and Mammie’s Mail Order Bride that takes place in Waterhole Texas.

What a delightful story of four brave woman, sisters, who have never been treated well by their father during their entire life. How dare they be girls, so even though their late mother was allowed to give them feminine names, they were called Sam, Jo, Dan and Rob. What a shock to the town of Waterhole, who had hired John Hardin to be their new sheriff, and in his place, four young women show up with the news that John was dead and they were there to fill the job of Sheriffs. Mark Carlin, the banker and man who hired Hardin, sure is not happy. But don’t stand in the way of a determined woman, much less four of them. The storyline and dialogue is entertaining and these feisty and definitely talented ladies, prove in several cases, they are definitely the persons for the job of Sheriff. Not only can they out gun, but their love of God shines through and harden men find Christ as their Savior. I love the quote, “If God has forgiven you, you have to forgive yourself too.” Waterhole, Texas will never been the same with the Hardin Sisters as the newest Sheriffs and town residents. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own. (Very minor editing issues, but not enough to ruin the story)

About the Book

Just out of college and completely alone in the world, Maggie Montgomery has one shot left to save her life from an abyss of poverty and hopelessness. Clinging to the last shred of fuel and hope, she arrives at the mansion of Texas billionaire Conrad Ayer. Although Maggie is clearly not what Mr. Ayer and his wife have in mind for a nanny, they agree to hire her temporarily until they can find someone more appropriate to fill the position. However, Maggie’s whole world is about to be up-ended by two way-over-scheduled children and one incredibly handsome hired hand. As she struggles to fit into a world she was never made to fit in, Maggie wonders if she can ever learn to become a perfect version of herself so she can keep the job, or is she doomed to always be searching for a life she can never quite grasp?

Keith Ayer despises his life. As the son of Texas billionaire Conrad Ayer and the fiance to a Senator from Texas’ daughter, it looks great on the outside, but inside, he is dying. He would vastly prefer to manage and train his father’s racehorses. However, everyone else thinks that is beneath him. He needs to get into industry and build on his father’s success. Suffocating under the constrictions of his life, he meets Maggie, and she begins to teach him that wealth and power is not everything in this life. But can Keith defy the two most powerful men in Texas to follow his heart?
