About the Book

Phillip and Tori St. John feel led to adopt and from an orphanage in Bulgaria. Not only do they have to adjust and grow together as a family, they also have to learn about Gabe’s autism. Tori finds herself an advocate, a student and most of all, a mother. The stresses put a strain on her marriage and a toll on her mentally and physically.

Review

This book is definitely a must-read. The story is wonderful and gives the reader a new perspective on families of special need children. D’Ann Renner uses her experience and first-hand knowledge of the challenges of autism. I loved the book and look forward to reading more of her work.
