Serenity to Accept
By Elizabeth Maddrey

About the Book

Karin Reid has never had much use for God. There’s been too much pain in her life for her to accept that God is anything other than, at best, disinterested or, at worst, sadistic. Until she meets Jason Garcia.

After his own mistakes of the past, Jason is committed to dating only Christians. He decides to bend his rule for Karin, as long as she comes to church with him.

As their friendship grows, both will have to decide if they’ll accept the path God has for them, even if it means losing each other.

Elizabeth Maddrey began writing stories as soon as she could form the letters properly and has never looked back. Though her practical nature and love of math and organization steered her into computer science for college and graduate school, she has always had one or more stories in progress to occupy her free time. When she isn’t writing, Elizabeth is a voracious consumer of books and has mastered the art of reading while undertaking just about any other activity. She loves to write about Christians who struggle through their lives, dealing with sin and receiving God’s grace.

Elizabeth lives in the suburbs of Washington D.C. with her husband and their two incredibly active little boys. She invites you to interact with her at her website or on Facebook:

    I have many favorites:)) hmmmm…

  9. I LOVE Karen Kingsbury books. I also like Jan Karon,Debbie McComber and others, but my very favorite is Karen Kingsbury. She is very sincere about her writing and the people she is writing for. She makes sure each book she writes she talks about God and the way to Him. She has proved over and over that she is concerned about her fans and does what she can to help them. How many authors would take the time to be in a fans wedding when they are going to be in that town on that day or not. She did! She didn’t know them beforehand but she was in their wedding and had pictures to prove it. I think what she did is awesome. She also has her mother and sister helping her so no one gets left out. I believe she is a Christian and lets her light shine wherever she goes. I didn’t mean to write all of this, but when you start talking about Karen Kingsbury it is hard to say just a few words. She is a shinning light for Christ and that is what He ask us to be. Her face even glows. If you haven’t read and of her fiction books, stand alones or series, then you have been doing yourself an injustice!! Try them I know you will love them. They are love stories and more, just without the dirty language etc. Love Karen Kingsbury!
